        The death of music legend Prince has sparked a national conversation and speculation about influenza as he reportedly suffered from the flu days before he was found not breathing at his home. Autopsy reports are pending.  In the meantime, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Lee Norman explains that every year The University of Kansas Hospital cares for flu patients and it is not uncommon for otherwise healthy … even younger adults to die from flu.  Sudden deaths can be caused when the flu lingers in the heart.  Listen to Dr. Norman’s interview to learn more.
