Kansas City, Kansas fire officials today honored two men for their heroic work to save the life of a co-worker whose heart had stopped.
Bill and Mark Fronce, owners of Boulevard Auto and Truck Repair, were honored for their quick action in mid-December to perform HANDS-ONLY CPR when Kiall Peoples suddenly collapsed and had no pulse. The men first called 911 before taking turns with the rapid chest compressions. A Kansas City, Kansas ambulance arrived and hurried him to The University of Kansas Hospital.
The Kansas City, Kansas Fire Department and The University of Kansas Hospital are jointly sponsoring the HANDS-ONLY CPR program in Wyandotte County to teach as many citizens as possible how to save a life before the ambulance arrives.
