Advice For Marathon Runners From Doctors Who Are Fellow Runners

Runners from all over will be lining up tomorrow for the Kansas City Marathon, an all-day event beginning at sunrise at Crown Center. Two orthopedic surgeons from The University of Kansas Hospital, who are runners themselves, have some great last minute advice for marathon runners, and for those who may be just starting out in the sport.

Dr. Scott Mullen talks about how runners can avoid injury, Dr. Bruce Toby talks about the most common injures for runners, and the best kind of training regimen, and Dr. Mullin has final tips to runners preparing for tomorrow’s big race.
