Kansas City, Kan- Eli Mies, who lived with uncontrolled epilepsy for most of his life, experienced severe seizures, especially at night. Diagnosed at six and told at 14 he'd live with seizures, Eli's life changed at 26 when he met Dr. Patrick Landazuri.
Brain surgery in 2017, followed by a second surgery using intraoperative MRI, successfully removed abnormal tissue, ending his seizures. Eli's journey highlights the importance of comprehensive care, including mental health support, and the transformative impact of advanced medical technology.
