Kansas City, KS- Robert Frias shared his journey to a new heart, highlighting his remarkable resilience and the support of his medical team at the University of Kansas Health System.

Frias was diagnosed with congestive heart failure in 2014. He underwent a LVAD implant before receiving a transplant.

His story includes the emotional impact of meeting Caitlin Hartman's family, who donated her heart.
