Tis the Season for Skin Cancer Screening

The University of Kansas Cancer Center strongly recommends skin cancer screenings to guard against melanoma...the most deadly of skin cancers.

“Americans have a one in five chance of being diagnosed with skin cancer in their lifetime,” explains MCA medical director, Gary Doolittle, MD. “Screenings like these are critical because the sooner we can identify a potentially cancerous mole or patch of skin, the better a patient’s chance for a cure.”
