Kansas City, Kan- Brie Bauer, a mother of three, is facing a new battle: needing a kidney transplant.
Her journey began with severe streptococcal toxic shock syndrome and DIC during pregnancy, leading to multiple amputations. Despite a 10% survival chance, she persevered. Brie undergoes dialysis four times a week and has been actively seeking a donor.
Recently, she found a perfect match, which will enable her to undergo a transplant soon.
