- It’s important to set boundaries between home and work
- Vital to speak up if feeling overwhelmed, stressed or burned out
- Taking vacation days is necessary for our mental health. But to be effective, we must put work on hold when off and avoid guilt when doing so.
- Be kind and patient with yourself and remember we need to have options and to not feel stuck.
Dr. Dana Hawkinson, medical director of Infection Prevention and Control, The University of Kansas Health System
- BA 2 variant is still predominant variant around the nation
- Overall things are looking good
- If we continue to keep up to date with vaccinations and continue to keep hospitalizations down, we’ll be in a good place for the foreseeable future
