One of the biggest stars on the NASCAR circuit is Jimmie Johnson, and he’ll be competing in the Hollywood Casino 400 this Sunday at the Kansas Speedway.
Not long ago, he and his crew came to town for a test run, and while here, stopped by to visit children at The University of Kansas Hospital, the official health care provider of The Kansas Speeway. During his visit, he spent time with a lot of excited youngsters, handing out autographs, giving away souvenirs and posing for pictures. He also helped pass out Blue Bunny ice cream to the delighted patients.
In the video, Johnson talks about why he’s glad to make these visits, how being a father makes these visits even more special, and he talks about the challenges of the Kansas Speedway track.
