A new bacteria found in the United States that is resistant to all known antibiotics is reason for concern, but not panic, according to Dr. Dana Hawkinson, Infectious Disease Specialist with The University of Kansas Hospital. Dr. Hawkinson says there have been warnings about antibiotic resistance for years, but it doesn’t mean this new bacteria will spread across the country.
