Doctors at The University of Kansas Hospital say the 2017 flu season has been “surprisingly quiet,” but is now starting to take off. Nearly 2,000 people across the country have been hospitalized with the flu, and three children have died according to the Centers for Disease Control. They and other doctors around the country are just now starting to see a spike in the number of patients with the flu...including in Kansas and Missouri.
