They're Ba-ack!

Remember all that itching and scratching you did last fall thanks to those pesky oak tree mites? Well guess what…they’re back early this year. It seems our mild winter is drawing them out of hibernation a lot earlier than expected.

Dr. Dan Aires is a dermatologist at The University of Kansas Health System, and he says he’s seen several patients with these bites already…and so have his colleagues. In the video, he describes the symptoms and the treatments and how to possibly prevent oak tree mites from biting. He also addresses the question on everybody’s mind…with the mites making such an early appearance, does it mean the problem will get worse this fall?
