As the Metro area continues to dig out from yesterday’s snowstorm, we’re now dealing with brutally cold temperatures. Here are the numbers of weather related injuries experienced so far at the Emergency Department of The University of Kansas Health System:

Motor Vehicle Accident – 3 (1 admitted)
Slip on Ice - 3
Snow removal injury - 1
Found outside in snow – 2 (one deceased, one discharged)
Dizzy while shoveling snow – 1 (admitted)
